On this page you will find a list and brief history of our staff members who are dedicated to hunting and putting the hunt on film.   We are always looking from new members/pals and or hunting junkies. So, if you think you can be a part of this small but dedicated well known group of hunters and you can put your hunts on video shoot us an email. We'd be happy to hear from you.

Proprietor; James Kinlan (the all around Hunting Junkie)  I began my hunting career when I was ten years old with my father Robert Kinlan; AKA Bobby K. I started hunting in the Pinelands of New Jersey. My first hunt was with the Shotgun, where I scored a nice long horned three (3) pointer.

In 1982 I picked up the recurve bow, cedar shaft arrows, and the ever so famous Bear Broadheads.  In the beginning, I missed quite a few deer until I finally hooked up with a big fat doe on the opening day of the 1984 fall bow season.

For the past 29 years I have been primarily hunting this great state.  I have hunted deer in the Catskills of New York and in various locations throughout Pennsylvania.  I have been to Quebec, Canada twice to hunt bear.   In 1990 I picked up the video camera and began filming my own hunts using an 8 mm video camera and a home made camera arm.  In 2004 I took the next step and purchased top-end video equipment and began "filming the hunt". I've since been putting together footage at the professional level.  Now the time has come to put it all together and place an exclusive New Jersey Hunting Video on the market Jersey Whitetail.

Staff Member;  Miss Mary.  Mary began hunting in 2001 with the bow where she scored a nice doe as her first in Colliers Mills WMA.  Later that year on the opener of the Jersey six-day shotgun season she harvested a large (dressed 115lbs.) Colliers Mills 8 pointer, who had eluded her during the regular bow and permit bow seasons.  Since then Mary is an avid outdoors women and has harvested several nice buck and doe in the past few seasons.  She plays a major part of the production team when it comes to filming and editing.

Jr. Staff Member; Jesse James.  Jesse began hunting in 2006, one week after he turned ten years old.  After a long sit of two hours he scored on a Colliers Mills WMA doe with his Browning Micro Midas bow. The deer went 20 yards and piled up. This hunt, his first, was captured on film & is priceless.  He has been out on many other hunts where he has passed on numbers of does.

Staff Member; Billy Sneddon.  Billy is a long time friend and hunting partner.  Billy has been hunting the pines for the past 29 years and has scored on plenty a nice buck with his bow and gun.  Sir William shown here with a nice 2007 shotgun 9 pointer.

Staff Member; Mason James. Mason began his hunting career when he was five months (5) old, in the womb.  He went winter bow hunting with mom and according to mom, kicked like the devil after the rush of a buck was over. This hunt was also captured on video. Sadly, Mason  has 5 1/2 years to wait until he can score one of his own.  Mason has been on MANY tracking jobs with mom and I.  He knows what scrapes and rubs are and will climb a 20 foot tree with ladder sticks.  He's already a pro, just waiting to turn ten.

Staff Member; Kevin Vaughn.  Kevin has been hunting for the past 37 plus years here in NJ.  He has been hunting the Northeast and has taken many nice buck with the bow and gun.  He has been hunting the hardwoods of North Jersey and the thick pines of South Jersey.

Staff member; Kathleen Kinlan.  On occasions my daughter Kathleen hunts with us and is seen here hunting out of the tent permit shotgun.

Staff Members; The Brown Family.  The Brown family is a great addition to the Jersey Whitetails staff starting with Bill Brown and his two sons Zachary and Noah.  Bill started starting hunting with his father as a young child.  Bills has over 35 years of hunting experience in the state of New Jersey and has also hunted in New york and Pennsylvania.  He is, with out a doubt, a trophy buck hunter and passes on many smaller bucks to wait for a giant.  There has been very few times he has gone into the woods along.  He either takes one or both of his sons with him hunting and has been doing so since they could walk. His family has been with him several times when he had taken a good buck.  During the 2007 fall bow Bill, Zack and Noah were all in the same tree.  Zack was hunting and Noah was video taping the hunt this just goes to show you the team effort toward deer hunting.

Staff Member:  Sonny Martinez.  Sonny is with out a doubt a Whitetail expert.  He has been hunting deer in this state for the past 50 years.  He has hunted deer with the shotgun, recurve bow, compound bow and now with the crossbow under a handicapped permit issued by the state.  He is a former member of the Pioneer Gun Club out of Highlands NJ, he is and honorary life member of the Highlands Rod and Gun Club out of Waretown, NJ and was a 20 year veteran of the Shore Buck Club.  He has hunted the east cost from Maine to Florida with numerous big game kills under his belt.  He has also hunted moose and bear in Canada along with other big game.  During the 07 fall bow Sonny had a nice buck walk by the stand just before dark and missed.  His hunt will be featured on the production film.
